Sr. Mary Austin Doherty

February 8, 2015, age 87. Sister Austin Doherty was a member of the School Sisters of St. Francis for 63 years. Sister’s primary ministry was Alverno College where she was a professor of psychology and Dean and Vice President of Academic Affairs.

Sister Austin was beloved daughter of the late James and Rose Doherty, and sister of the late James (Rose), Thomas (Elaine) and Francis (Helen) Doherty. She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Convent Chapel, 1501 S. Layton Blvd, Milwaukee, Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 12 noon. Interment Thursday 2:30PM at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Milwaukee.
