As I visited Sr. Joan Frances from time to time at the convent it was nice to reminisce about family, her duties at the convent, and her daily walks about Campbellsport. As the years passed, it became apparent that she struggled with remembering things and post-it notes were her way of holding on to them. Our last visit in May 2014 was days before she was moved to Our Lady of the Angels. Receiving the biggest hug from her, I felt tears come forth. What a very special person. Peace be with you Sr. Joan Frances.

Fr. Roman Mueller, S.D.S.

Sr. Joan Frances was certainly a very dedicated religious, a creative and hard-working teacher for so many years, and a support to all her family, especially me as I journeyed to priesthood and after ordination as well. The last time I saw her was at my mother’s funeral in February 2013. Sadly, she was struggling to figure out who I was. Even still, she seemed at peace and otherwise knew that her sister-in-law had died. May Sister have a happy reunion with so many members of her immediate family who had preceded her in death. May she rest in peace! Fr. Roman Mueller, S.D.S.
