It was a pleasure knowing Shirley over many, many years. Always a kind word, a good story and a smile. Some of the fondest memories for my mother Janet, were their trips to Eagle River. She will be truly missed.

Aunt Shirley … what wonderful memories I have of family get-togethers, cards you sent, and other kindnesses you showed. I can still hear your laughter…I love you!

I will always remember the fun times spent with Shirley in her beloved Eagle River, playing cards, laughing, and eating. I was lucky to have been ‘adopted’ into her big fun-loving Jewell family for many occasions.
Even though I will miss seeing her,I am happy that Shirley is at peace and no longer suffering.

Grandma Shirley will be dearly missed. She always taught me to stay close to god, and in the worst times, stay positive. I know she will be watching down on all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with a big smile on her face. I am proud to call her my grandma and I couldn’t ask for anything more. Thank you Grandma Shirley, I love you and will always have you in my heart.
