Thursday morning, my birthday, my mother called and told me Sheila was gone. My first thought was not one of sorrow but of joy. I could see her dancing in heaven. Now we share a birthday together.
Life here will never be the same without her.

The Praying God Mother
When I was a child you prayed
When I was a troubled teenager
you really prayed
When became a wife you prayed
When my life fell apart you prayed
When I tried to put it back together you prayed
When I didn’t know I needed it you prayed
When you got sick I prayed

I pray that God will comfort Sheila’s family for the great loss they’ve suffered. I will definitely miss her friendship, wisdom, and the great example she set! She was a blessing — I praise God for having known her — and especially for what she taught me about the power of prayer!!
