(Nee Vandenboom)Born to Eternal Life on, Monday, June 27, 2022, at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Tom. Loving mom of Renee (Matt) Bowen and Tim (Denise) Bissonnette. Dear grandma of Zach and Olivia Bowen, Kyle and Ryan Bissonnette. Sister-in-law of Nancy (Richard) Krause. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Florence Vandenboom, her sister Judith (Alfred) Schultz and brother-in-law Jeramiah Bizonet.
Sharon attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic grade school and Waterford High School. After high school she worked at the Sacred Heart Monastery. She and Tom married September 8, 1962 at Sacred Heart Church and then became members of St. Louis Catholic Church. Sharon also worked for many years in the Racine Unified School District in food service. She loved gardening, cooking, cross word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, traveling, shopping and the occasional trip to the casino. She was a very generous person and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday July 9th at ST. LOUIS CATHOLIC CHURCH,13207 County Rd G. from 9-11am with the Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Cancer Society or St. Louis Church appreciated.
