Surrounded by her loving family, Ruth was embraced by the Lords open arms and welcomed by her beloved husband Edward, daughter Bonnie, son Edward Jr., grandsons Randy and David who preceded her in death. Loving mother of Carol (Bernard) Sammer, Beverly (Sherwood) Alper and Patti Plume. Mother-in-law of Chuck McLaughlin, Patti Miller and Maurice Charbonneau. Adored grandmother of Brian (Jackie) Mclaughlin, Kelly Johlke, Kim (John) Austin-Lowe, Jeff (Sheri) Sammer, Jamie (Trevor) Thome, Nicole Kulas, Noelle (Joe) Sorano, Aimee Charbonneau, Denise Matrisch, Christopher (Michelle) Miller, Julie Miller, Jennifer (Brian) Carter, and Michael (Jackie) Miller. Further survived by 22.5 great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild, 9 grand dogs and her Bff Kitten, who misses her dearly, other relatives and many good friends. Visitation Thursday, February 07, 2013 10:00 am at RESURRECTION EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH 213 E Howard Ave until time of Funeral Services at 11:00 AM. Entombment Forest Home Cemetery. Ruth’s great loves were her family and her church. She loved holidays so she could decorate her home and bake cookies for her neighbors and family. She had a great sense of humor and loved working crossword puzzles. She will be deeply missed. A special thank you to Pastor John Mattek for his loving spiritual guidance. She looked forward to his weekly visits. Also to the nurses and staff at St. Francis Hospital on the 3rd floor for their compassion and gentleness for our mom and our family.
