Ron was born on March 19, 1932 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Elroy Barbian and Marvel Hintz, found peace Monday, March 21, 2016 after a long illness.
Ron married Maryellen Bowers (daughter of Clifford Bowers and Myra Power) on Feb 3, 1953. He had been an aspiring professional baseball player, a longtime teacher and coach at Greendale High School, and was recently inducted into the Wisconsin Old Timers Baseball Hall of Fame. Above all, he was a loving, caring, and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, son, son in law, brother in law, and good friend.
He was preceded in death by his father Elroy, his step father Carl, and his mother Marvel. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Maryellen; and his sons, Ronald A. (Wendy), and Gregory R. (Debbie). Further survived by his grandchildren Ronald J, Russell, Brett, and Bryan. He will deeply missed and will be lovingly remembered by all.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the FUNERAL HOME from 4:00pm until the time of service at 6:30pm. The Rev. David Berg and Greg Berg officiating. Entombment Arlington Park Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Hales Corners Care Center and Davita Dialysis Center for their loving care. If so desired memorials to the American Kidney Foundation great appreciated.
