Passed away at home on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 age 61 years. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Crissey) for 26 years. Loving father of Josh (Tammy) Grueneberg, Jaimie Grueneberg, James (Lisa) Berndsen and Gary (Mandi) Berndsen. Proud grandpa of Alyssa, Andrew, Eden, Walter, Phoebe, Kaiden, Hannah and the late Mason. Dear brother of Roger (Cindy), Randy (Dawn), Russell (Debbie) and Renee (Jay) Swenson. Brother-in-law of Rob (Janice), Rick (Bonnie) and Russ (Lisa). Further survived by other relatives and many friends.

Visitation Saturday, December 22 at the Funeral Home from 9:00 AM – 11:45 AM. Funeral service 12:00 Noon. Entombment and Military Honors to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Joe was retired from the School Sisters of St. Francis and was a die hard Green Bay Packer fan.
