MILWAUKEE – Passed away peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2023 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Mary Lynne for 31 years. Cherished father of Monica (Brian) Huml, Adam (Natalie) Riley, Julie Koepp, and Robert Koepp. Loving grandfather of Addison, Jace, Jordan, and Joseph. Proud great-grandfather of Esmeralda and Ellie. Dear brother of Pat Repka. Fond uncle of Matthew (Marnie) Schultz and Maggie (Sharif) Amin.
Rob was appointed to the Milwaukee Police Department in 1969 and promoted to detective in 1979, where he remained until he retired in 2001.
Rob would think his greatest achievement would be his loving, endearing relationship with his wife Mary Lynne and his family.
Rob enjoyed writing stories and novels and was a published author of three books. He had a love of electronics and music. He was very spiritual and practiced meditation daily. Rob will be remembered for his sense of humor and generosity.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 1pm until the time of service at 3pm at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME (4800 S 84th St, Greenfield). Private family entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
