Robert William Jensen

Passed away peacefully on June 26th, 2026, at the age of 70. Loving dad of Sarah and Amy Jensen. Very proud grandpa of John. Robert is survived by brothers and sisters Jay (Sandy), Mike, Don (Marsha), John (Sharon Pertzborn), Joe, Patrick, Christy, Mary (Jhonny) Marmolejo, Kathy (Randy) Gagas, Diane. Preceded in death by parents James and Alberta (nee Crary) as well as his sister Deb and brother David. Robert was also the proud cat dad of Sugie and Luna whom he adored.

Above all else, Robert’s greatest joy in life was his family. He was a devoted father to his two daughters and a proud grandfather whose grandson held an especially cherished place in his heart. The love he had for them was immeasurable, and the moments they shared together were among his most treasured.

He found happiness in the simple pleasures of life and embraced every opportunity to spend time outdoors. Whether he was casting a line while fishing, camping beneath the stars, or simply enjoying nature, he was most at peace outside. A loyal Wisconsin sports fan, he could often be found cheering on the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Wisconsin Badgers, while also faithfully following the Florida Panthers. Watching a game with him was an experience in itself. He celebrated every big play with unmatched enthusiasm and wasn’t shy about letting the television know exactly how he felt when the officials made a questionable call or his team wasn’t playing up to his expectations. His passionate cheers, groans, and spirited commentary became a beloved part of every game day and will be fondly remembered by those who watched alongside him.

An avid reader, he especially enjoyed novels by James Patterson and always appreciated a good story. Music was another of his passions, with the timeless sounds of AC/DC, Queen, Kansas, Guns N’ Roses, and countless hits from the 1970s and 1980s serving as the soundtrack to many of his days. He loved gathering family and friends around the grill for a backyard barbecue, rarely passed up a cold Dr Pepper or a fresh cup of coffee, and never missed the opportunity to enjoy a slice of Betty’s Pie whenever he visited Minnesota.

He will be remembered for the love he gave so freely, the memories he created with those closest to him, and the lasting impact he made on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
