I worked with Mr. Wenke at First Wisconsin at Howell @ Norwich. Mr. Wenke was the best boss I ever had in 25 years at the bank. He created a professional but friendly work environment that I never found before or after my time there. I remember playing sheepshead in the lunchroom with him. We all had so much fun. I also remember on his birthday Mrs. Wenke would bring in so many treats. OMG! The tables were filled with everything you could imagine. My friend, Linda (she was a teller at the branch) and I often still speak of Mr. Wenke and how lucky we were to have worked with him. I worked there for several years and left in 1979 when I had my first baby. Funny— I was to work until the Friday, but the baby came early! Mr. Wenke called me and laughed and said “You owe me two days!” Big smile and great memory. I know he loved his family very much and I send my sincere sympathy to Vicky and Sandy.

Vicky – I have seen you and your daughter at Hales Corners Care Center for the past several years and want to express my sympathy to you. You have been a devoted wife beyond words. I hope that Bob is at peace.
