Welch, Robert Gene
Of Town of Raymond age 80, died peacefully at Wheaton Franciscan Hospital in Racine surrounded by family on December 25, 2014. He was born October 6, 1934 in Janesville, Wisconsin.
Bob was a loving husband, wonderful father and grandfather, and recently was very proud and excited to become a great-grandfather. Bob served in the Army from 1954 to 1956. He loved to fish, read, and cook for and be with his family. Bob retired from Chrysler (AMC) in Kenosha after 30 years and then served as a part-time mail carrier in Union Grove. He was a member of North Cape Lutheran Church.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Franklin and Dorothy (nee Pardee) Welch and his sister-in-law Lois (nee Ruff) Jasperson. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (nee Ruff) Welch, his children Tim Welch of Guadalajara, Mexico, Terry (Eileen) Welch of Raymond, and Robbyn (Don) Wilks of Kenosha, his grandchildren Michael Wilks of Kenosha, Kristyn (Michael) Demuysere of Union Grove, Eric Welch of Kenosha and Trevor Welch of North Carolina, his great-grandson Brayden Demuysere, his siblings Lily Ann (Norbert) Bankenbush of Wyoming, Ronald (Diane) Welch of Union Grove, Frank (Sharon) Welch of Sturtevant, Pamela (Marty) Rakauskas of Racine, Debra Correll of Oak Creek and Mark (Janice) Welch of Raymond, and his brother-in-law Lyle Jasperson of North Cape. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at NORTH CAPE LUTHERAN CHURCH 2644 Raynor Ave. (Hwy 45) at 11:30 AM on Saturday, January 17, 2015 with Pastor Brad Brown officiating. Visitation will be held in the church on Saturday beginning at 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to North Cape Lutheran Church appreciated.
