My sister, Kristin, and I first met Bob on June 11th, stepping in as fill-ins to help relieve some of his full-time crew. It quickly became a day I always looked forward to “working.” Bob loved sharing stories from his law enforcement days, and knowing how much of an avid hunter and fisherman I am, he thrived on explaining every detail of how he made his turkey calls- it was fascinating to say the least. After just a few short months, I became known as “Pixie”-the tiny weightlifter who got him to eat pizza again after more than ten years. Thank you, Mark, for allowing me the privilege of helping care for such a sweet, wonderful man.
