Robert A.
Rieger

Rieger, Robert A., “Bob”

Passed away suddenly on Friday, August 25th, 2017 at the age of 54. Loving dad of the late Anthony Robert Rieger, Sarah Lynn Rieger, Aaron Anthony Rieger, and Jade Moriah Rieger. Beloved brother of Laurence I. (Cheryl) Rieger. Also survived by other relatives and friends.

Memorial visitation will be held at the FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, August 31st from 4-7pm, memorial service to follow at 7PM.

Bob was a loving dad who would light up any room he walked into. He loved flying, and was a gifted airplane and auto mechanic, and sod farmer. He was a witty jokester with a very creative sense of humor, and he’ll be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

“If you’re stressed out, go take a hot shower, get some sleep, and we’ll deal with it in the morning.”

I was 14 years old when Bob (Bobby to me) was born and my Aunt Shirley (his mom) allowed me to be his Godmother and to hold him for his Baptism. It was such a special day for me ..I remember it well…including the dress I wore. Bobby was such a precocious child, full of mischief and the cutest little guy you ever did see. He was a joy to be around all through his life. He had a heart of gold. Later I moved to Arizona and seldom saw him but whenever I did it was as if time had not passed between visits. I know his children’s hearts are filled with loving memories…a gift that can never be taken away. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

I will miss my awesome neighbor. Always had a quick smile and joke to share. Sitting on your patio and talking about anything from gardening help to recipes to try. Loved you as my own family and will cherish those memories. Rest in peace Bob
