  • Burial to take place on Wednesday, January 28th at 12pm at Hillside Cemetery (214 N. Slater St. Coloma Wi 54930)

 

Richard “Dicky” Witt

 

Devoted husband of the late Lillian M. Witt (nee Wierzchowski). Married on July 28th, 1951. Loving brother of Chuckie (Audrey) Witt. Father of John (Vicki) Witt, Joanne (Wally) Marynik, Jean (Jeff) Pollnow, Joyce (Mike) Santalucia, James (Mary Ann) Witt, Judy Witt, Jeffrey (Karin) Witt. Proud grandfather to Stephanie (Ray) Kaszuba, Sandy (Al) Nowak, James Pollnow, Sheryl (Phil) Birkland, Joe (Sarah) Pollnow, Nikki (Darrick) Prill, JR (Charlie) Witt, Michelle Santalucia, Amy (Mike) Bartlett, Kathryn (Robert) Millhouse, Dana (Stephen) Ganesh, Mark (Sydney) Witt, Miranda (Tyler) Witt, Sam (Chloe)Witt. Great-Grandfather to 25. Great Great-Grandfather to 1.

Further survived by his aunt, nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.

Besides being a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Dicky worked for 40 years at Patrick Cudahy. He spent the last ten years of his career working for Superior Die Cast where he then retired.

 Dicky was an avid gardener, spending many of his days working in the yard in his beloved “overhauls”. He had a green thumb and was able to grow a variety of vegetables in his garden, which he was very proud of.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

    Judy, please know that you and your family are in my prayers. I loved when Natalie would have the latest Richard story to share at family dinner. Though I never had a chance to meet him, it makes me happy to know that he and his larger than life personality existed in this world. How blessed you all were to have him. *hugs
