May 31, 2008, age 72 years. Beloved husband for 50 years of Barbara Ann nee Krauska. Loving father of Michael Jody Slania and Laura Tom Gage. Grandfather of Daniel A. and Matthew J. Slania. Predeceased by his parents Andrew and Eugenia, brother Andy and sister-in-law Barbara. Further survived by sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Memorial visitation Wednesday June 4, 9 AM at St. MARYS CHURCH, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave, with funeral mass at 10 AM. Private internment. Ray played football for Marquette High School and Northwestern University. In lieu of flower donations to Marquette High School appreciated.
