Nee Barlow joined her husband of almost 60 years, Robert J. Ruditys, in heaven on July 31, 2012, at the age of 83 years. Ramona was born in Ironwood, MI, on February 28, 1929, to Giles and Marian nee Braya Barlow. In her early adult years, Ramona worked at Ladish Company and later in life she worked at Kids Korner Day Care where she was known as “Mrs. R”. Most of Ramona’s life was spent caring for family and she will be dearly missed by all of us.
She is lovingly remembered as devoted mother to Bobby M. Jenny Ruditys, special auntie to Gale Bill Bebo and Diane Schroeder; beloved grandmother to Laurie Bebo Nick Welter, Brett Bebo and Wade Kathleen Bebo; cherished sister to Kathleen “Chinka” Walter Shults, Tony JoAnn Barlow, Donald “Sonny” the late Nancy Barlow and sister-in-law to Nancy the late Richard Barlow; Endearing great grandmother to Logan, Brooke, Brittany, Justin, Jonah, Wylie and Garrett. Ramona is survived by many caring nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law Giles “Bud” Carol Barlow and her brother Richard “Dick” Barlow.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday, August 3 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Followed by a Mass of Christian burial to be held at ST. VERONICA CHURCH 4001 S. Whitnall Ave. at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park in Oak Creek.
