Petra Anna Schroeder
Petra Anna Schroeder was born still on the morning of November 14, 2025. Petra was the cherished daughter of Noah and Tabitha. She leaves behind her adoring grandparents, Steve and Karen and Kevin and Miriam, her aunts and uncles, Luke and Claire and Caleb and Johannah, and her wonderful cousins, Eirene, Zoe, and Kleyton.
Noah and Tabitha spent treasured time with her after the birth. She was held close (her parents admiring her full head of hair and adorable nose), told how deeply she was loved, read to by her father as her mother held her, and sung hymns including “Amazing Grace” and “I Know That My Redeemer Lives.” They said goodbye to her with a prayer and promise that they would see her again in Heaven.
All Petra ever knew was love – first surrounded by the love of her mother and now the perfect love of Jesus. She is eternally magnificent.
Her name means “strong.” It is with that strength that Noah and Tabitha know they will see Petra again and declare as Job did:
“I know that my redeemer lives,
and that in the end he will stand on the earth.
And after my skin has been destroyed,
yet in my flesh I will see God;
I myself will see him
with my own eyes-I, and not another.
How my heart yearns within me!”
My deepest and heartfelt sympathies are with you both in those most difficult and trying time. May the God who gives us grace and solace be with you both🙏.
I can’t say any words to take away your pain. Know God gained an Angel.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family! Sending love and hugs!
