Paul Joseph
Weston

Paul died peacefully with his family by his side on October 29, 2017, just short of his 85th birthday. Beloved husband of Carie (Wildschut) for 47 years, father of Sally [Mark] Matiszik of St. Louis, and Jennifer [Patrick] Kane of Phoenix. Grandpa of Tavin Paul Matiszik and Sophie Rose Matiszik. Dear brother of Marge Jacoby of Madison. Also survived by special cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Margaret Wirsbitzki, sister and brother-in-law Bernice and George Siekierski, brother and sister-in-law Ben and Iola Weston of Denton, TX, in-laws Henry and Ann Wildschut, and brother-in-law John Jacoby.

Born in Milwaukee and later a 43-year resident of Greendale, Paul graduated from Don Bosco High School and Marquette University. He served in the US Army during the Korean War, and was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Faith Community in Hales Corners since 1974. He retired as Director of Hospital Information Systems at the Milwaukee County Mental Health Complex in 1990 after 30 years.

Paul’s wonderfully long retirement allowed him to play golf, fish, travel, spend time with his family, and socialize with his wife – making many new friends and memories.

Gratitude extended for the comfort, care, and dignity given to Paul by the nursing staff and Horizon Hospice during his brief stay at Froedtert Hospital.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with family on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 17 from 1:00pm – 2:45pm at St. Mary Catholic Faith Community, 9520 W. Forest Home Ave, Hales Corners. Funeral Mass and Inurnment at 3:00pm.

Mass intentions at St. Mary are welcome, and memorial donations may be made to The Park People of Milwaukee County Inc. http://www.parkpeoplemke.org, or the Retired Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi (RETSIS) http://www.lakeosfs.org.

……………………. Dear Paul, all your questions will be answered now. LYHAB…………………….
