Town of Raymond, Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at age 46. Loving son of Bernie and Jacquie (nee Szulczewski). Dear brother of Ann (Les) Hedrington, Jodi (Pat) Celeste and Brenda (Casey) Stratton. Special uncle to Jessica, Brandon,Nick(Sarah), Bobbi Jo, Hunter, Nikki ,Alyssa ,Brody and Jake. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, April 26, 2013, 11AM at ST. LOUIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 13207 Cty. Rd. G. in Caledonia (Hwy G & I94). Interment to follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 9AM until the time of Mass (11AM).
While growing up, Paul was a proud member of the Raymond 4H, graduating from Union Grove High School in 1985. He attended and graduated from Gateway with a degree in Police Science in 1994. Paul served on the Raymond Volunteer Fire Department for 15 years as an firefighter and an EMT. Paul studied and trained in the martial art of Jukado, becoming a fifth degree black belt and a senior instructor and later became the head instructor at the MIZU School of Self Defense. He successfully taught many younger students to the black belt rank. Paul worked many dedicated years with his family at Harry Hansen’s Meat Service. Paul was a giving man who donated over 12 gallons of his blood, he enjoyed paintballing and trips to the Canadian Bondary Waters.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the JAKE Fund at St. Louis Church or to the Hospice Alliance of Kenosha. A special thanks to Hospice Alliance-Tammy, Dean, Sharon and Gary.
