Patrick R. Riedy

Patrick was called from among us Wednesday, November 29^th at the age of 92.  He was born to the late James and late Mary Riedy, Sr. on a farm near Casco, Wisconsin. He is survived by his wife Rose (Kugel) Riedy; children: Trisha, Gerard (Suzanne), Laurie (late husband Gerard) Timmerman, Ann (Tom) Runnells, and Linda (Bob) Gross. Grandchildren: Connor, Sam, Ben (Brittney), Sydney (Adam), Daniel, Xavier, Jacob and Noah and great granddaughter Rory. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Florence, Fr. Harold, Jerome, and Jimmy.  Patrick loved people and enjoyed bringing laughter to the group. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Patrick served in the Navy for 2 years.  In his younger days he worked as a reporter and editor of several newspapers and took a position in a Milwaukee paper.  He moved into sales at Sears in plumbing and heating for many years.  He retired from Sears then found a job he loved at MGIC. Patrick was faithful to God. He was a Holy Name member and also sang in the Resurrection Choir.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 5^th from 10-11:15 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes (3722 S 58th St, Milwaukee). A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30 AM.
