Patricia Ruth Solie (nee: Sherman)

Patricia Solie, 80, passed away at Ascension SE Wisconsin Hospital on Sunday May 10, 2020.
Patricia was born in St. Paul, MN on February 3, 1940 to James and Maxine Sherman. During her sophomore year her family moved to Chippewa Falls, WI. Patricia graduated from McDonnell High School in 1957 and went on to Viterbo College in LaCrosse, WI to become a registered nurse.
She moved to CA and worked at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles where she led the Intensive Care and Critical Care Unit and took care of many Hollywood stars.
After 15 years in CA she returned to Chippewa Falls, WI and in 1978 married Richard “Trigger” Solie her high school sweetheart. They resided in Chippewa Falls until 1992 when they moved to Milwaukee.
Patricia was very proud of her family and always made them priority in her life. She loved being involved and watching sports, especially that of her grandkids. She was the oldest of eight siblings of which she remained close to each and every one of them. Her family meant everything to her. She was passionate about birthdays and holidays, especially Christmas, which she started planning for in July of every year. Patricia was an avid online shopper. She never forgot anyone’s birthday and always had a gift for everyone that celebrated with her.
Patricia is survived by her husband Richard of 42 years . Her sons Bernard (Lisa) Lenczner and Daniel (Christine) Lenczner, Sister Mary (Jim) Flannagan, Brothers James (Connie) Sherman, Gregory (Trudy) Sherman, Jack (Evie) Sherman, Mark Sherman, Mike Sherman, Terry Sherman. Step-daughters Cynthia Solie and Deborah Solie and 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Maxine Sherman.
Private funeral services will be held by the family with a public Celebration of Life to take place later this summer in Chippewa Falls, WI. Where do I start? Cub Scout leaders for Dan and Derek Buttons the dog jumping into your convertible back seat. Walnut tree limb falling on your car Oh yes we got criticized for having the boys in Cub scouts police a 3 square foot of grass at Erwin street . Little league baseball with Ben, Derek, Dan. Now there were some fun times. The first time we met Trig via telephone. And so sorry we were never able to meet in person ,but know this was such a happy special forever time of life for you. Mary and family and we all went to Disneyland. I could go on and on. But not necessary just my goodbye for now my friend. Love you💕💕
