I cannot image the pain Involved with the unexpected loss of a loved one.
The sudden loss of a loved one is the most tragic and devastating situation anyone can endure
All I ask is that you remember all of the many friends who share the pain of your loss.

It was my pleasure getting to know Mike better over the last six months, as DOT supervisors. We enjoyed trading stories about: work, family and life. Mike was a great guy. I truly feel blessed to have gotten to know him. And, I look forward to seeing him again in heaven.
My condolences to his Family.

Happy eternal life birthday, Mike Luty. Thank you for being such a kind neighbor and friend to dad, mom, us Luettgen sisters, step-mom, step-brothers, and I for so many years. Bottsford Ave is a street of great memories.
Our families shared many milestones. From our first walking baby steps to playing base runner in your front yard, winning We Energies sons and daughters scholarships to starting our first jobs, our families can look back fondly in what we accomplished together. Growing up across the street from you and the Lutys’ was a privilege.
Thank you for always making us feel welcome in your home and in planning adventurous trips and events. From birthdays to anniversaries, wedding rehearsals to serving the elderly at Mount Carmel Nursing home, you and the Lutys’ always made us Luettgens’ and the community feel like family.
I’ll never forget our hunting and fishing memories in Canada. I still remember the glassy lakes, Camp Quetico lodge, and the “rock dog”. I was always impressed by your ability to fix any broken item in our path and grill up a tasty meat. You were generous, skilled, and fun-loving. Thank you sharing your God-given gifts with us.
Your sound Christian values and friendly support has left a legacy for years to come. As the new generation in our families start anew, we all remember you fondly as a strong example of Christ’s love.
I pray signs of your presence instill a renewed deeper love for God and awareness of the preciousness of life. I pray for healing in times of sorrow for your loved ones especially Kathy, Rachel, Chris, and Andy who all miss you dearly.
May God fill the void of your presence with the love of Jesus. The earth will pass away and all who dwell in it, but God’s love endures forever. May the memories of your beautiful marriage, fatherhood, grandfatherhood, friendship, and life be cherished.
Mike, it is with tears of joy we reflect your life today. Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted. While your passing was quick, we are thankful in knowing you are in eternal peace: No more trials, no more pain. You took a seat on the bench of rest; a place of honor as God’s good a faithful servant. May the imagery shared today in your eulogy of your guardian angel at your side give us all assurance and hope in your loving departing.
On this your eternal life birthday, we celebrate your meeting with Jesus face-to-face. You passed the test of life and are welcomed by your God and all the heavenly angels and saints.
May this message send a warm extention of my heart from Arkansas to Wisconsin and up to the heavens. It is with greatest admiration and respect in tribute to your life that you are recognized today. Thank for being my dad’s best friend and so kind all these years to our Luettgen family. God bless you! Until we meet again.
Sincerely Your Neighbor & Friend,
Jacqueline Luettgen

Kathy,
I just learned of Mike’s death today.
I am so sorry for your loss.
I would have come for the visitation/funeral Mass,
but I was playing a funeral at St. Matthew’s in Oak Creek
where I work a the same time as Mike’s funeral.
Although I did not know Mike – if he chose YOU for his wife,
then I know he was a wonderful, good and very smart man.
His picture is great and worth a thousand words.
Your and your family are in my prayers.

Dear Kathy, Rachel, Chis and Andy. Some good memories of Mike when we would play the music for the early camp-out Masses. And watching him play accompaniment to the kids during talent shows. Will miss the constant smile and fond memory of him showing up at Patty’s cabin with the robes and fresh baked cookies. What a guy. God bless you all. jan & Bob
