We watched Matt grow into a wonderful man, awesome cook and kind neighbor. It was a running joke with Matt, I would say hi Matt everytime I would see him.it was a special greeting between us! Matt would be cooking outside and the wonderfull smell would have me asking for a taste! Matt always obliged.
I know he is no longer in pain or sick. Heaven has another angel.

Mr. and Mrs. Hoover, I’m so sorry for your loss. I haven’t spoke to Matt in a few years but I have a lot of great memories from school and growing up together. I am praying for you and your whole family during this time.

When I think of Matt, I still see that little guy. hanging with Grandma. Granda Harris sure loved her time with him. She often retold the story of how she always let Matt scratch off her lottery tickets. She loved telling me how smart and funny he was. He scratched off the ticket in the back seat of the car and announced that Grandma had won $5,000. She thought for sure he must be mistaken. But he was right. I have no words to express my condolences. Sending love and prayers to all of you. May the Holy Spirit give you comfort and peace. With love!

Monday, Matthew got to see our Saviour’s face and he got to see once again all his grandparents, and other relatives!  He is no longer in pain and despair.  I will be excited to get to know him better one day – I so enjoyed the little bit of time I did have with him – he helped me with cooking and we just talked when he was here with us for Gram’s 90th birthday celebration in 2012!  Know that your whole family are in our prayers during your sorrow. May you feel the love and grace only God can give during this time of sadness and grief. Psalms 116:15 “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.” Love & hugs to all
