Maryanne was a graduate of the UW Madison School of Journalism and a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She enjoyed applying her talents at Milwaukee Radio Station WISN, where she met Woody. She was also a long-time residential realtor, and soloist at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Milwaukee. Maryanne was known by those who loved her for her unique sense of humor and ability to laugh at herself. But perhaps the role that meant the most to her was that of a loving Grandmother.

A heartfelt thank you to St. Luke’s Emergency Team headed by Dr. Mengyao, and the ICU Surgical Team including Dr. Siegel, Michelle, Allie and Dr. Kaura.

Also thanks to Vitas Ruth Hospice, especially Julia, Kelley, Rhonda, Maggie, Chaplain John and the rest of the staff.

And always, there will be a special heartfelt regard for Maryanne’s cardiologist, Dr. Anthony DeFranco for his extraordinary work at an earlier time.

To Dr. Randy Matthewson, and the entire care team at the Froedtert Greendale Medical Clinic: Thank you.

And with grateful appreciation for her friendship and love, our neighbor Fay Kolster.
