Mary was my neighbor for almost 50 years. She was such a kind person. When I had to use a walker she decided that she would bring my garbage cans back from the curb. If I was going away for a few days she would get my mail and my newspaper. She looked out for me. One time someone walked around the house to check some traps that were set for squirrels. They knocked on my door and I didn’t answer because I wasn’t dressed yet. She called the police because she was afraid that someone was trying to rob me. We had a good laugh over that one. I cried when she moved away. May she rest in peace.
