Of Brown Deer, Wisconsin originally from Stevens Point died May 30, 2025 of natural causes at 78 years old. Mary Kaye was preceded in death by her dear parents, Vincent and Alvina, her loving brothers Kevin and Peter, and her beloved cat Smoky, and dog Bandit. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Peter’s wife Beatrice as well as other relatives and friends.

Mary Kaye spent most of her adult life as a grade school teacher. After retiring, she focused on her hobbies which included reading, knitting, and crocheting. But she found true joy – drag racing in her Mustang – it was a highlight in her life. Later on, she took up painting which became a new passion for her.

Special thanks to Lawlis, St. Mary’s, the Catholic Home staff and friends of the entire family including Jeff, Richard and her great neighbors in Brown Deer including Bob, Todd their family and other friends who helped Mary as much as her independent spirit allowed. We will miss you, but we know that you will rest in peace, finally joining your loved ones, welcoming you home now.

Mary will be laid to rest next to her parents and other family members at Guardian Angel Cemetery, 1232 Wilshire Boulevard, Stevens Point, WI 54481 at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 2, 2025.
