Mary Anne Goede (nee Kant), age 93, of Milwaukee, WI went to her heavenly home on April 28, 2022.  Born on July 4, 1928 in the Town of Lake (Milwaukee) to Walter A. Kant and Emily (née Radtke). Beloved wife of 62 years to Gordon A. Goede who preceded her in death in 2012. They loved camping and traveling, visiting all 50 states.  Mary Anne worked at Nordberg Manufacturing after high school graduation until they started their family. She was a long-time member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, West Allis, WI and enjoyed working at Martin Luther High School rummage sales. Mary Anne was preceded in death by her four brothers, Wally, Don, Bob and Ralph.  A loving mother, she is survived by her children Clifford (Karen) Goede, Carolyn (Bill) Yanke, Gerald (Pat) Goede. She was a proud grandmother of Jeri Lynn (Ted), Becky, Kristin (Chris), Eric (Sarah), Brad (Kat), Peter (Lindsey), Adam, Bryan, Will (Leah) and great-grandmother of Madelyn, Dylan, Danny, Blake, Jackson, Nash, Cole, Jack, Emma, Lucy, Millie, Foster, Gloria, Grayson and Rowan. Mary Anne was blessed and thankful for the special friendship of Robert Behling.

Visitation is on Friday, May 6thfrom 9:30 to 11 AM at the Heritage Funeral Home, 4800 S. 84th St. Greenfield, WI and followed by the funeral service at 11 AM. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.

If so desired, memorials to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Martin Luther High School are appreciated.

    Sending my heartfelt condolences to the family of my Aunt Mary Anne. Very grateful for and blessed by all the memories I have over the years with Aunt Mary Anne and Uncle Gordon! Thankful also for all the blessings God gave through them to everyone they encountered throughout their lives! Praise God!
