Westerhaus, Rev. Martin O.,
Saturday, March 22nd, 2014 age 84. Beloved husband of Phyllis J. Westerhaus (nee Redlin). Father of Marianne (Dan) Jensen, and the late Mark Westerhaus. Grandfather of Caroline Jensen, Daniel Jensen, and the late Paul Jensen. Brother of Jeanette (the late Walter) Wichmann, the late Paul (the late Brenda) Westerhaus, and Theodore (Gloria) Westerhaus. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation Saturday March 29th from 9-11AM at CALVARY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 247 S. Main St, Thiensville, followed by the funeral service at 11AM. Interment Zum Kripplein Christi Lutheran Cemetery.
Pastor Westerhaus served as Pastor at Zum Kripplein Christi Lutheran Church, taught at Wisconsin Lutheran High School, and served as Librarian and Professor at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary appreciated.

I will always remember your whole family – MaryAnn, Mark, Pastor and Mrs. Westerhaus.
He was a kind and patient teacher who expertly shared and explained the Bible.
Bible history came alive as he taught us.
I didn’t realize until later some of the lessons he taught us about life and living a Christian life, no matter what circumstances you are given.

I pray for comfort for the family, with the knowledge that he has gone on ahead to heaven.

To Mrs. Westerhaus and Marianne,
He was our pastor and teacher. We loved him and will miss him. Always in our memories and thoughts throughout the years. I will never forget him. Our thoughts and prayers to his family. He was a blessing to all who knew him. He set an example as to how to live our lives no matter what came our way, with God and Jesus as our Guide.
He is with all our loved ones who have gone before us, this is such a comforting thought.
