Called home October 9th, 2013 to the house of our Lord. Preceeded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Robert F. Kitchen and son-in-law Mark E. Szolyga. Further survived by daughter Diane M. Szolyga, grand-daughter Melissa M. (Jared) Burback, grandsons Derreck R. Krause, Christopher N. (“Nicole”) Szolyga and Matthew S. Szolyga, and favorite of all her dear and loving great grand-daughter Mikayla Marie. Further survived by other family and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, October 19 from 9AM-11AM at St. Gregory the Great, 60th and Oklahoma, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM.

Marlene will be missed dearly. She will always be remembered for her giving, loving and caring heart. A faithful member of St. Gregory the Great parish for over 50 years and an active member of Christian Women. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be made to her favorite charities.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family on this tremendous loss. I hold fond memories of Aunt Marlene. Regretfully I will miss the services because I will be in Arizona visiting my son and his family. GOD Bless and watch over you and your family.
