Went to the arms of Jesus on December 9, 2021 at the age of 86. Preceded in death by her husband Arnold “Geno” Albers, grandson Ted Smith and great-grandson Marcus Albers. She left behind her children Linda Wittmann (Kent Seflow), Steven (Katie), Jeffrey (Kathy Schreiner), Karen Smith, Lori, Michael (Stacy Van Alstyne). Grandchildren Tim Kohlbeck, Kate (Eric) Swanson, Kelly Noll, Anthony (Whitney), Dan (Leslie) Wittmann, Lauren (Ryan) Germann, Scotty Smith, Drew Bunker and seven great-grandchildren. Also lovingly remembered by many friends and neighbors, as well as her colleagues at St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care, where she worked and volunteered for many years.

Mom will be remembered by her family for her humor, love of simple pleasures, and devotion to family. Nothing made her happier than playing “Dog,” the family card game. Special thanks to the caring staff at Howard Village, The Grand Hills Castle and AseraCare hospice who helped us through this journey.

I had a wonderful opportunity knowing Marion when she was living at Howard village and she had a wonderful sense of humor. Always had a smile on her face 🙂 With that smile she would make others smile.
