Marilyn was my bridesmaid and Godmother for my first born -David.. As 1st cousins, we spent many happy hours together and with our other family members. I especially remember the 4th of July gathering at her home – Marilyn winning a Shirley Temple doll for the decorated doll buggy competition, going to the beach with her sisters on the streetcar and both of us getting severely sunburned, playing “spoons” with all the cousins in the big kitchen, playing with her beautiful doll house when it was brought down from the attic at Christmas and many more good times. I will miss her but will cherish the good memories.

Aunt zmarilyn was my godmother. When I was a kid and would stay at my grandmas house I would watch her meticulously iron her nursing uniforms and oh the cap..that’s what i WANTED to be a nurse like her….well 35 years later of nursing ..enough said…love first professional role model?
