Born to Eternal Life December 7, 2011 Age 37 years. Cherished mother of Marina Thomas and Glenn Thomas Jr. Beloved daughter of Roy R . and Maria C. (Rodriguez) Rivas. Dear sister of Rosa Segura, Angel Marie (Jason, Sr.) Ryan, Roy Rivas Jr., April Rivas, Monica (Gabriel Manuel) Rivas) and the late Crystal Rivas. Further survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Tuesday Dec 13 at Gesu Church 1145 W. Wisconsin Ave from 10 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials to the family appreciated.

Maria and became friends just this year I’m a cancer survivor also and we would meaet at doctors office talk on the phone and uplift each other I didnt even know she passed until now ive been texting going on face my facebook page hadnt heard anything and now i decided well maybe she sent a message on her page and it blew a whole in my heart to know she passed she was caring and comical we had lots of laughs, I will deeply miss her she was good people. love you Teri
