Maria Clemencia Usama Cepeda

Born to Eternal Life September 3, 2018, age 56 years. Cherished mother of Luis Tulcanaza and Micki Usama. Proud grandmother of Selmira and Leo Tulcanaza-Ryan. Beloved sister of Edwardo, Inez, Enrique, Luz Mila, Margarita, Roberto and Nelly. Further survived by many loving nieces and nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Preceded in death by her parents Selmira Cepeda and Luis Puetate and her sister, Beatriz.

Maria was a very loving and devoted mother; a hard worker and an empowered woman – – she was a role model to many people, but was mostly known for her strong work ethic and her immeasurable kindness.

Visitation on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Suminski / Weiss Funeral Home, 1901 N. Farwell Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53202. On Saturday, September 8, 2018 visitation will be held at Three Holy Women Parish – St. Hedwig Church, 1702 N. Humboldt Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53202 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place following the Mass at Woodlawn Cemetery.

I remember a strong and fearless woman who taught me how to cook and taught me how to be a mother, in addition to a new mother tongue. Thank you Clemy as those are not things just anyone can bestow. <3 I also remember a woman who loved and care for my children almost as much as a mother. Recuerdo a una mujer fuerte y valiente que me enseñó a cocinar y me enseñó a ser madre, además de una nueva lengua materna. Gracias Clemy ya que esas no son cosas que cualquiera pueda otorgar. <3 También recuerdo a una mujer que amaba y cuidaba a mis hijos casi tanto como a una madre. I am just saddened to hear of Marias passing, I just found out. Mickey & Luiz..my heart goes out to you. Maria was a wonderful kind sweet woman she always had a smile and a cheerful greeting…. and the food she cooked…yum
I always teased her and said I’m coming for dinner…
Rest in peace Maria I know you’re in heaven with the angels because you were an angel here on Earth.
