Marge Frohna (nee Grube) of Greenfield, born to eternal life on November 17, 2022 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Ron for 61 years. Loving mother of Karen (Jim) Rappl and Tom (Nancy) Frohna. Cherished grandmother of Aaron (Lydia), Brian (Christie), Fr. Matthew, Katie (Tim), Margaret (Paul), Emma (Jacob), and Maddie. Precious great-grandmother to 7 great-grandchildren, and special mom to Scott and Julie Wilson. Also survived by her sister Kathryn (Kay Grube) Sollitto and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Ellen Wilson, brother Karl G. Grube and parents Karl T. and Alvera (Conrardy) Grube.

Marge was born on January 2, 1936 as the first baby of the new year in Sheboygan, WI. She graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1954 and then moved to Milwaukee where she worked at Allen Bradley and AC Delco. She met the love of her life, Ron, in a Catholic young adult group. They married in 1961 and she became a homemaker. Later she was a unit clerk in the St. Luke’s Hospital ER and receptionist in several medical offices. She was active at St. Gregory the Great Parish and loved reading, playing cards with friends, trips to Door County, and family vacations in St. Germain. In retirement she and Ron enjoyed traveling to England, France, Italy, and many locations in the US.

A special thanks to her nurse Jenny and the Aurora hospice team for their care the past eleven months. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the St. Gregory the Great St. Ben’s Meal Program or the St. Gregory the Great School Scholarship Fund are greatly appreciated.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 from 9:30-10:45 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church – 3160 S. 63rd St. in Milwaukee, WI.
