Margaret Ann
Larson

Margaret Ann Larson, Nee Donegan, passed away peacefully in her sleep early Sunday morning, July 7th, 2019.  Margaret, whom everyone knew as Peggy, was born in Whitefish Montana on February 4th, 1935.   It was fate that had her meet her lifelong friend Sue at Glacier Park where she was working and travel back to Minong Wisconsin to Sue’s family run resort. There, Peggy met Lee Larson, with whom she loved and was married to for 63 years.

Together they had four children; Patricia, Laurie, Lee Jr., and Terri, five grandchildren; Christopher, Kira, Joshua, Jason and Brenna and two great-grandchildren; Jack and Annabelle.  Peggy was a wonderful Mom and strong believer in keeping the family connected.  So, while Peggy never moved back to Whitefish, she did have summer travel adventures, driving a small VW Karmann Ghia with the kids to visit with family sometimes in Minong and sometimes in Whitefish.

Known for her passion for helping those that can’t help themselves, Peggy was a huge supporter of causes that would help children and animals and dedicated many hours of her life to wildlife protection in Wisconsin.

Peggy was a kind soul and was always quick with a smile.  A devout Christian, she lived her life always trying to do the right thing, for her family and for others.

A short visitation will be held on Friday, July 12th 2019 from 1pm to 1:30pm and funeral service celebrating her life from 1:30pm to 2:00pm at Forest Home Cemetery Chapel, 2405 West Forest Home Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53215. Burial to follow directly after service.

Jesus has called Peggy home.  We thank God for her life and her love for each of us.
