Marcelline I. Smith

June 3, 1936 – May 4, 2024

Our dearest Mother, Grandma, Cousin, Friend, left this world only to be reunited with her Husband Richard “Dick”, Son Gregory “Greg”, Mother and Father, Esther and Anton, Cousin Greg Jagmin, along with many other relatives, family and friends.

Marcy attended St. Josaphat Grade School and was a 1954 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Milwaukee.

Marcy had many interests and loved to entertain.  She was an active parishioner at St. Veronica’s back in the day, helping plan the church dances and activities, as well as a member of the church choir.  She loved music and she and dad would dance whenever they could.  Mom had the honor of singing in the chorus in a Polish Opera that was performing here in Milwaukee back in the 1970s.

She was always someone who could put a smile on your face with her singing and dancing.

After retiring from the City of Milwaukee, Mom helped raise her granddaughters Megan Anne and Abigail Elizabeth, creating lots of fond, fun memories for all.

Throughout the years she had many pets, mainly cats, that she loved and spoiled and loved her in return.

Marcy is survived by her Daughter, Catherine (Mark) McLees, Granddaughters Megan Anne Smith and Abigail Elizabeth Smith, Step Grandson Aaron, (USAF), Cousin Jackie Jagmin, and many relatives and friends.

We would like to send our sincerest appreciation and thank you to the staff at Villa St. Francis and St. Croix Hospice for the outstanding care they provided to mom.  They continuously treated her and her family with unbelievable love and respect.

A private memorial will be held with family and friends.

May your memories of Marcy make you smile, warm your heart and fill your wine glass.

Kathy and family. Sorry for your loss. We will always cherish the memories of Of your mom at lost lake. When she would come to visit us riding in her golf cart with a glass of wine 🍷 in her hand. We sure had some good times at the resort with your family, we miss those days.
    Love
    Ron, Sherry and Lori
