I have very fond memories of your mother as a warm, caring woman. She was my fifth grade teacher and I remember her as being sweet and bubbly with a beautiful smile. One of my strongest memories of that year was when she had to tell us all of the death of John F. Kennedy. As much as she was hurting, she tried to console us and keep us calm.

Your mom was one of the reasons I chose to go into education.

I will be teaching the morning of your mom’s service, but I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
