Wolf, Lucky nee Noel Thomas Cofta

Born into this world on April 25, 1963. Left to walk with The Angels and run with the wolves on April 6, 2012, age 48. When this dear man wasn’t telling a string of corny jokes, he was showing small kindnesses to friends and neighbors alike. His was a remarkable intelligence. His gifts included excellent mechanical skills; strong curiosity about matters philosophical and spiritual especially Joseph Campbell and the ability to read people quickly, to see their hearts, to see the good in each one.

Noel chose the name Lucky Wolf in 2000 from a dream about a wolf, his spirit animal. Now he runs with them in the forest. Lucky is preceded in death by his father, Norman Cofta; sister-in-law Darlene Cofta, life-long friends Marvin Carter and sweet kitties Marvin and Rebecca. He is survived by his mother Arlene Cofta, wife Sheila Bowler, brothers James Linda Cofta, Donald Jennifer Cofta, Benjamin Nicole Cofta, sisters Claudette Donald Evans and Margie Gigi Cofta, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday April 11 at the FUNERAL HOME from 11 AM-1PM. Special thanks to the ICU staff at St. Francis Hospital for the care and comfort they provided Lucky in his final hours.
