Lorin Louis Jacob passed away September 15, 2020 at the age of 73 at Ignite (Seasons) Hospice Care due to complications of cancer.
Lorin was born October 4, 1946 in South Milwaukee, WI. He graduated from Oak Creek High School in 1964. He met his wife, Joyce, in high school and they were married October 10, 1964.
Lorin had a great love for family and friends. He enjoyed farming and all things construction. He was a jack of all trades and loved to take time to stop for a conversation with everyone.
Lorin was preceded in death by his beloved son, Daniel Lorin Jacob; his parents, Elmer and Lydia (nee Siegel) Jacob; his sisters, Janet Philip and Karen Sprotte; and his brother-in-law Alex Sprotte.
Lorin is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce (nee Waldron); his daughter, Terri Jacob; his daughter-in-law, Connie Lin (nee Matrise) Jacob; his granddaughter, Trista Williams; his grandsons, Josh Williams, Jake (fiancée Abby Smith) Williams, Juston (Ellie) Williams, Kevin (fiancée Kendra Heidenthal) Jacob, and Brad Jacob; and his great grandsons, Lincoln and Oliver.
He is further survived by his brother Earle (Ruth) Jacob and many other beloved nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters in law, as well as many friends and extended family.
Visitation will be held Friday September 25th from 4-7 pm at Harvest Community Church at 6612 S. Howell Ave., Oak Creek, WI 53154. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation. A private internment will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, everyone is asked to be patient and abide to social distancing guidelines. Everyone is welcome and mask are required.
Lorin was a great friend and co-worker. He will be missed.
With such a heavy heart love and hugs to ALL the Jacob family. Thank you for always making me feel like family. I will miss your strong hugs and big laugh. Thank you for always being such a kind man. I will cherish all the memories. Lorin may you and your son Dan be together and watch over all of us as we will forever miss you both very much❤
Will always remember stories he told to Ted and me. Lorin always did so much for anyone who asked him how this can be fixed or that can be taken apart. He always had a smile on his face when he saw you. So glad we finally met Joyce so enjoy her company. Will miss you glad we met you.

I am so sorry to hear of Lorin’s home going. He was just a nice man always having a smile on his face. My thoughts and prayers go out to Joyce and family.
I was saddened to learn of Lorin’s passing! We shared a great class at Oak Creek High School with good memories. R.I.P. Lorin! My condolences to his family!
