I am sorry to hear of Lois’s passing – especially the indication that she may have been ill for some time. I haven’t seen her since high school, but remember her exactly as written in the obituary – a ‘one of a kind’ person with an exuberant spirit. My heart goes out to you, Jim, your family, and extended family for your loss. May God be with you and bless you with his peace.

I met Lois in second grade at St. Jacobi school and was lucky to have her as a friend all the way thru to college where we were roommates. We laughed, we cried, we had pajama parties, we often liked the same boys and I learned very quickly to tell her to be somewhere at least 1/2 hour before she needed to be. It never worked – she was still always late. We even missed a plane to San Francisco one time when we were 18. I remember her dad dropping her off at the airport while his car was still moving. In spite of it, we got the next flight out and had an amazing time. I have very fond memories and after reading all these special tributes I’m sad that we somehow lost touch after college. I am smiling just thinking of how hard she could make me laugh. May her friends and family find comfort in sharing great memories. Love and blessings to you all.

Jim and family,

I was fortunate to be a classmate of Lois at WLHS and see her
boundless enthusiasm and numerous talents brightly shine in so many
areas. From the family pictures you shared, she truly touched the
lives of all she met with her charismatic smile and even more
beautiful spirit.

May our loving Heavenly Father bring you comfort and peace during this
time of sorrow.

With deepest sympathy,

Richard Scherer

I always looked forward to seeing Lois at family events, she was always so interested in my life and my opinions. She challenged most of my opinions and values…which was always interesting to hear her side of things. I learned a lot from her, and always took her morals and values to heart. I will miss her at our next family event. My heart goes out to her children, and close friends and family. Much Love.
