Jasperson, Lois (nee Ruff) of Town of Norway-age 84yrs. Passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, March 7, 2014.  
Lois was born in Racine on Feb. 3, 1930.  Daughter of Harry and Hedvig Ruff, she was united in marriage to Lyle Jasperson on Aug. 6, 1949.  After attending Wisconsin State Teachers College-Milwaukee and graduating from the Normal School in Union Grove, she took her first teaching position at DeReemer School in the Town of Raymond.  She also taught at North Cape, Drought, and Franklin.  A life long member of the North Cape Lutheran Church, she was the organist for over 25 years, Sunday School superintendent and very active with all the women’s groups of the church. Lois taught piano and was very proud of all her students, but particularly those that went on to be local organists.  She was active with Farm Bureau and a 4-H leader.  Lois was a wonderful home maker and greatly appreciated by her husband and children.

Lois is survived by her husband Lyle; son Alan (Paula) daughter Janet; grandchildren Ben (Laura), Jacob (fiance Tina), Adam and Rebekah; great grandson Lucas, sister Barbara (Bob) Welch; sister- in-law Mary Jane Jasperson; and many nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother- in- law Buster Jasperson.

Funeral services will be held at NORTH CAPE LUTHERAN CHURCH 2644 124th Street (Hwy 45) on Wed. March 12, 2014 with visitation from 9 to 11 am with the service to follow (11am).  The Rev. Bradley Brown officiating.
