Bernie,
I want to say that although Tim and I will not be able to make it to the viewing/funeral we do want to pay our respects. I didn’t grow up here so I didn’t know Leo like a lot of the family but I want you to know that I have always been impressed with how he lived his life and how fortunate he was to have you come into and share his life. I don’t think too many people would be able to do either-very daunting obstacles to me anywayto overcome that most people will never have to deal with. You will be in our thoughts/prayers. Tim & Cindi Olson.

My sincere condolences to you and your family in the loss of Leo. I was saddened to hear of Leo’s passing yesterday at Village at Manor Park. Although we only met several weeks ago, I admire Leo’s spirit and willingness to face adversity with a smile and wave. You both have touched my life and my nephew Anthony’s, I know both of us will always remember the kindness you and Leo brought to our lives. Thank you and my thoughts and pravers are with you and your family. Be at peace Leo.

Bernie,
My heart breaks for you with the news of Leo’s death. I cannot imagine all of the emotions that you must feel. It’s an understatement to say this has been an incredible year for you and your family. Know that I very much wish I could be with you in person, but unfortunately I cannot be with you. But know too, that I remain with you and the entire family in spirit and prayer. What an amazing life Leo led against the odds for so many years. You are an incredible human being for all the love and support the two of you shared over the years. You have my deep admiration, my prayers and deepest sympathy. As you gather this week for the funeral please know that I am present with you in my heart and in my spirit. When I say mass on Wednesday, it will be with you and Leo athat I will keep in mind and make my intention.

All my love and sympathy,
Your cousin,
Fr. Ron Kolanowski
