Goebel, Leo R. Of Oak Creek, WI. Peacefully entered God’s loving arms on his 67th birthday, Sept. 5, 2008. Leo was born the only child of Leo Sr. and Irene Goebel. He was raised and spent his entire life in Oak Creek, WI. Leo was described by many as an “Angel on Earth”. His passion and zest for life touched everyone. Leo is survived by his loving family. He was adored and loved by Bernadine Sorano, his fiancée and soul mate of 28 years. Sons Frank and Joseph Noelle Sorako. Proud grandfather of Emilee, Jonah and Isabella. Cherished by aunts Catherine Barrett and Ruth Berg. Dr. David Barrett, Patrica Connors and Kathleen Michael Ackermann. Further survived by relatives and numerous friends. We would like to express a loving thanks to our extended family at St. Luke’s MRICU and special thanks to Dr. and Mrs. Robert Goldmann and daughter Samantha for their love and support. Celebrating Leo’s life, a visitation will be held Tue., Sept. 9, 2008, at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 9303 S. Chicago Rd., from 4-7 PM Vigil at 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wed., Sept. 10 at St. Matthews Church at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mathews Church, other gifts will be dedicated to a memorial stone in St. Luke’Goebel, Leo R. Of Oak Creek, WI.
