Ystad, Leroy H. “Lee”
Of Tucson, AZ, formerly of New Berlin and Waterford, WI died Dec. 6, 2011 after a brief but courageous battle with brain cancer. Born in Milwaukee on July 22, 1942 to Lee and Dorothy Ystad. Survived by his wife of 45 years Susy, daughter Kristin Ed Ksobiech, grandsons Tommy, Nick and Zak Ksobiech, sister Pat Schmidt, and brother Don Linda Ystad. Further survived by mother-in-law Dorothy Boginski, sisters-in-law Janice Sorensen and Chris Ullman, brother-in-law Bob Boginski, nieces Cari Ullman and Alexis Boginski, nephew Mike Cara Ystad, and special cousin Don Connie Schmidt. Preceded in death parents, brother Jerry and grandson Justin. Memorial Visitation Thurs. Dec. 22, 9-11am with Memorial Funeral Mass at 11am at ST. THOMAS AQUINAS, 305 First St., Waterford. Inurnment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery. Lee retired from the City of New Berlin after 33 years. He was an avid sportsman who loved to hunt and fish. Lee was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who took great joy in the lives of his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his family and his many friends in Wisconsin and Arizona. Special thanks to the wonderful Arizona friends, and to Chris, Dorothy, Kristi, Linda and Don for their special help during Lee’s illness and to the Odyssey Hospice for their care in Lee’s final days.
