Passed away surrounded by his family on July 12, 2015. Beloved husband of Janice (Nee Bakken) for 54 years. Loving father of Arlen (Julie), Roberta Evje, Renae (Bill), Zagel, Liza (Matt) Mayberry, Rodney (Tammy), Lynda (Brian) Stott. Proud grandpa of Josh, Kayla, Allison, Ryan, Collin, Kyle, Paige, Sam, Mason and Addie and Caleb. Great-Grandpa of Sage, Carter, Tia and Hudson. Brother of Ardell (Max) Gibson, Ione (Dean) Wiseth. Preceded in death by siblings Margie, Elaine, Irene and Roger. Brother-in-law to Lars and Curley. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held at the FUNERAL HOME on Friday July 17, 2015 from 9 AM to 11AM with an 11AM service to follow. Interment at Forest Hill Cemetery.
“Whitey” was employed at Bucyrus Erie for 39 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and his family. Special thanks to Dr. William Lieber and nurses Amy, Stacy, Jessie and Kim at St. Luke’s South Shore for their compassionate care.
