She will surely be missed. She became such a good friend (even though she was my supervisor) for 12 years. We had some good laughs at work. She always talked about her grandkids and was so happy to becoming a grandma again. I will think of her often

Condolences to the family! Laurie was my manager for the last few years and I was just in her office laughing and talking about life the Friday before she passed. This is heartbreaking as someone that knew her, but I will never forget the great times we shared. She loved her family and was one of the coolest people you could ever meet. Thank you for the great times and I will always remember you!

We/I’ve known Laurie from time she was a little 9 yr girl in wedding of her big brother Ron and my ‘big’ sister Cathy, to seeing her graduate from high school, to come to work with her mom in same building with her dad, her brothers and me, then meeting Dave who came to work there too, to her beautiful wedding to Dave (on day before our wedding anniversary), to watching her become a mom, then grandma. She was always sweet Laurie – family, coworker, friend and will be missed and remembered with love.

When I heard that God had called Laurie home, my heart missed a few beats…and then I reflected on what an amazing person Laurie was to her friends, family – work and personal, as well as mentor to so many (of which there are any number of tributes to her legacy as a supervisor above)! From the bottom of our hearts, Patrick Pope and I would like to extend our deepest condolences to Laurie’s family and friends. I, too, worked with Laurie for well over a decade. She was always a ‘bright spot’ amid challenges, and never came to work without that irrepressible smile!

Laurie, you will be missed dearly…but, now when I look up at the warmth and beauty of the Sun, I’ll see your smile, hear your laughter and know that you are sending a wink in my direction!

To the family and friends of Laurie, i am a co-worker of over twenty years….. our encounters were brief and few but very meaningful in that Laurie always made time for me… She was always willing to help and always willing to squeeze me into her meeting agenda to get the word out for rehab services… i will not forget her friendly face, warm smile, and laughter that put me always at ease….
