I remember being like her second daughter, over every day during the summer to swim, or skate on the pond. I remember this one time she convinced and convinced me to come up to the cottage, where we spent time on the lake and goofed around. It had been one of the best days of my life! Thank you to this amazing family for always making the best of the life we have. Thoughts and prayers to you all.

What an incredible fight she fought. We are honored to know your family and appreciate you sharing your words as you walked this journey. Thank you for making us realize the importance of each moment. Our prayer is that God will comfort your hearts as you navigate this next journey, that you find joy in the happiest of memories, and that you will continue to make it a good life.

During this time, there will be hugs. There will be tears. There will be people who don’t know what to say. And some who can still make you laugh. There will be pictures and keepsakes. Memories and stories – some you’ve never heard and some you could never hear enough. There will be sorrow. There will be celebration. But most of all, there will be love; the kind that never ends. I celebrate and honor Kathryn’s life.

MJ and I are so very sad for your loss. Even though we never met Kathryn, we feel like we know her from the stories you have told us about her and your family. Please know that you have friends “out West” and if if there is anything we can do, or if you or the kids would like time away for travel, relaxation, or personal sojourn, you have friends and a place to stay in Seattle. Please take care of yourselves.

May you find strength and guidance to get thru this very difficult time. I’m sure you’ll treasure all the memories. She fought a Hard battle with all her might and was taken to early. She is at peace now guiding you and her children. Our hearts are hurting for you. Big hugs and prayers.
