Donoghue, Kathleen Frances

(nee Gilson) Born to Eternal Life Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Finally found peace after a 5-year battle against ovarian cancer.

Devoted wife of John for 44 years. Cherished mother of Mary (Steven) Balistreri, Michalene, Kristin (Corey) Donoghue Priesman, Tara, and John Michael (Kelly) Donoghue. Beloved grandmother of Frank, Elizabeth, and Sophia Balistreri; Leo and Elise Donoghue Priesman; and Megan, John Patrick, and Kevin Donoghue. Dear sister, aunt, and friend to many.

Along this rough path in life, we have been compassionately served by many professionals. Our deepest appreciation goes out to Janet Osborne, MD and nurses Ann Thompson and Sandy Muchka at Froedtert, for your never-wavering commitment to excellence; to Penny, Andrea, and Chrissy, our guardian angels, for providing outstanding care at all hours of the day and night; and to Laura and Hannah from Horizon Home Care and Hospice for your guidance through the final leg of this journey. Lastly, a special thank you to Fr. Tim Kitzke and Three Holy Women Pastoral Director, Terri, for their words of wisdom and support as we struggled through this overwhelming loss.

Visitation at Three Holy Women Parish – Holy Rosary Church, 2011 N. Oakland Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53202 on Monday, August 3rd from 10:00 AM until the time of Funeral Mass at 12:00 Noon.

Private interment St. Paul’s Cemetery in Genesee Depot.
