June Margaret Macejkovic,
age 87, passed to eternal life on April 5, 2012 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
June was born June 26, 1924 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was a longtime resident of Bay View and a member of St. Veronica Catholic Church. After high school, June did clerical work for Wisconsin Electric Power Co. During World War II she enlisted in the Navy Waves and served two years as a Yeoman Second Class. After the war, she worked at the Traffic Bureau for Milwaukee’s Police Department. June was 23 when she met Frank Macejkovic. They married July 24th 1948, and spent 50 wonderful years together raising and enjoying their three children and their grandchildren. Her favorite pastimes were baking, sewing, entertaining, arts and crafts. She was an avid reader. June’s selflessness, kindness, sense of humor, hospitality, and loving ways touched the lives of many.

Dear mother, survived by her children, Karen Chuck Terry of Fallon, Nevada; Nancy Gary Beisser of Calhoun, Georgia; and James Jan Macejkovic of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Adoring grandmother of Jeanine David Widman, Suzanne Emerson Goldsberry, Kristen Scott Francis and Michael Terry; Michael Elaina Beisser and Jeffrey Beisser; Sara Ryan Kawczynski and Erin Macejkovic. Loving great-grandmother of Andrew, Grace, James, Brianna, Emily and Logan. Sister-in-law of Marion Macejkovic and Inez Macejk. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years Frank Macejkovic March 09, 1998, parents Alfred and Clara Baumbach, sister Shirley Bill Gara; parents Mary and Alfred Macejkovic; as well as sister and brother-in-laws, Faye Herman Marquardt, Agnes John Nagy, Leo Macejk, Mary Louie Opansky, and Robert Macejkovic
