Judith Stuart

Judith Stuart, age 86, died at home on July 9, 2026.  Her interests and talents were many. She was a voracious reader with vast knowledge of world history, music, art and fashion. A graduate of the University of MN, St Thomas University and South Texas College of Law, she began her career as a CPA/Attorney at Tenneco Houston but soon thereafter was transferred to Tenneco’s office in London. She embraced the work, made many lasting friends, and enjoyed both business and leisure travel throughout Europe and Africa. Years later when she retired and reluctantly returned to the States, she came to Milwaukee and enjoyed working an additional 10 years at Godfrey & Kahn.

She was a long time supporter of ACLU, Common Cause, World Central Kitchen,  Doctors Without Borders, local food pantries and liberal causes promoting respect for all humanity.

Preceded in death by 4 siblings and 1 niece, she is survived by her sister Rosemary Wheeler, 6 nieces and 1 nephew.
